This is the time of year when JMP's newest sales and marketing employees would gather at SAS World Headquarters for a week of games, exercises, presentations and community. Obviously, that's not happening. But JMP Academy Cycle 5 is in full force, totally online, with shortened sessions and an elongated calendar.
Phil Kay and Robin Betters team up to make the orientation class interactive, dynamic, fun and informative. And a line-up of expert presenters introduce new ideas and important information.
Among the experts is JMP creator John Sall who shared the origin story of JMP, and who answered questions from a group of eager employees.
When U.S. Account Executive Tony Cesano asked Sall where the idea came from to provide so many learning resources for customers and even prospects, Sall talked about the renewal stream and the importance of keeping customers satisfied and engaged. He shared his belief that if users learn enough, they’ll adopt more tools in the product. We’ll spread the use and impact of JMP through education, Sall said. “We’re not just software.”
If you're curious about what is being taught, you can check out training materials and presentations right here in InsideJMP. Just look for the JMP Academy Cycle 5 folder and go from there.
