JMP Query Builder on table, how to close source table after interactive query?Dear all,
how can I get a trigger from JMP, that user has finished interactive query,
and subsequently close the source table?
Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
dt << JMP Query Builder();
// how to close dt on finished query?
// close(dt, nosave);
ScriptingRe: JMP Query Builder on table, how to close source table after interactive query?if you use New SQUL with the modify message you get a reference you can then use on close functionality to close the source table. However you will need to have the source table name or the table itself put to a global variable. Otherwise the On close function of the Query window will not find it. Though it is all but not perfect, this should help a bit:
Names default to here(1);
dt = Open("$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp")
//dt = current data table();
::mysourcetablename = current data table()<< get name;
qw = New SQL Query(
Version( 130 ),
Connection( "JMP" ),
JMP Tables(current data table()),
From( Table(::mysourcetablename, Alias( "t1" ) ) )
)<< modify;
qw << on close(close(data table(::mysourcetablename)));
