Fit DSD does not show one factor of the designHi,
in the attached table, Galplus is a factor which does not show up in any Fit DSD report for none of the responses to be fit. The Bivariate fit, shows that there might eb a quadratic effect at least for HMWs
DOEDSDRe: Fit DSD does not show one factor of the designHi Martin,
I agree that from the bivariate plot it looks like there might be a small quadratic effect of Galplus.
DSDs have relatively low power for detecting quadratic effects. In your example, there are only 3 runs out of 21 with Galplus set at the mid-point. A quadratic effect has to be quite big relative to experimental error to be detected with a DSD.
So, if there is a quadratic effect of Galplus, it is not big enough to be detected by this experiment.
I hope that helps.

Phil
Re: Fit DSD does not show one factor of the designThanks Phil, this align with what I found out by further exploring the data and the model differences in more detail and more granular.
