Reference/Book for "Design for Six Sigma"?<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Do you know any good book or link I could propose to for “Design for Six Sigma”. The Visual Six Sigma book I know but is there any more compact reference whch also refers to JMP?
Thanks,
Martin
Re: Reference/Book for "Design for Six Sigma"?Martin,
Hey, when I was doing DFSS in my last gig I actually didn't have a big book like Visual Six Sigma, but we did hand out this really handy little book that covers the concepts:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Design-SIGMA-Memory-Jogger/dp/1576810658/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_y
Its pretty cheap too...
Re: Reference/Book for "Design for Six Sigma"?With JMP? That is one I don't know. One book we referred too during my Kodak days teaching Six Sigma was "Design for Six Sigma" by Creveling and Slutsky. But I honestly don't remember which software they used...Crevelling was also a big proponent of all things Taguchi DOE methods so you can sometimes get wrapped up in a philosophical argument/discussion there too. But from a systems management perspective wrt to a sound and effective overall DFSS commercialization architecture they do a nice job.
