Lego (04 Jun 2020 – Nordics)
Lego, the world´s largest toy manufacturer (most notably Lego building bricks), recently acquired six JMP licenses.
The Nordic team found contacts at Lego via LinkedIn. Klaus Lenander discovered that Lego had realized it was unable to explore data and trends, resulting in untapped yield potential. Klaus explains, “Lego wants to use JMP so it can be more data-driven. The first department to use JMP will be the Lego Molding division in Billund, Denmark. The plan is to use JMP DOE to better understand the mold process when experimenting with new sustainable materials, something that’s required by Lego’s corporate social responsibility strategy.” Klaus hopes this sale is just the first brick in the wall of potential use of JMP throughout Lego.
