JMP Trial - download page redirects

For each major and dot release of JMP, Bob Hickey supplies new URL codes for the download pages. There are three pages… one for Windows, Mac and a page that lists both (failsafe). Currently using the same redirects at both PROD and STAGE. For 15.0 we updated the redirects so that they are version agnostic. (They appear in the trial confirmation email.)

 

There’s a chain of actions/redirects:

1. The AEM trial workflows call a redirect that is country specific (e.g. https://www.jmp.com/jmp-trial-download-en.html)
2. There’s code that will insert .win or .mac between the country code and .html, depending on which OS the users selects in the form (e.g. https://www.jmp.com/jmp-trial-download-en.mac.html)
3. A redirect for each possible permutation (country + OS) has been set up in the SAS redirect manager to then point to the correct login page (e.g. https://login.sas.com/opensso/UI/Login?showNewUserDisplay=false&realm=/extweb&goto=https://www.jmp.com/jmp-trial-mac)
4. The last parameter on the above link then corresponds to the redirects below. A user will be promoted to log into their profile, they will then be taken to the correct download page.
5. Since the links are version agnostic, we should now only need to update the following redirects below.
