JMP crashes when subsetting the data

Don't know the exact reason because even cannot get the log data about what is going on.

 

Long story short; trying to create a new data table by passing another data table's column names into it.

 

jmp crashes after this step. Any suggestion ?

column_list = {"A","B","C"}

dt_new = DT_old <<
  Subset(
   All rows(1),
   columns(column_list),
   Suppress formula evaluation( 1 )
   );

Tech support will want to know JMP version, OS version, number of rows, column data types. Is it a crash or perhaps just waiting a long time? Does JMP offer to send a crash report the next time it opens?

This works in JMP 15:

dt_old=open("$sample_data/big class.jmp");
column_list = {"name", "height", "weight"};

dt_new = DT_old << Subset(
 All rows( 1 ),
 columns( column_list ),
 Suppress formula evaluation( 1 )
);
