Budget
IT line item? Users pay? Fab Managers make budget decisions and question all expenditures
Internal Chargeback, if so, how much? TBD
When budget for next year’s renewal? A pain point – unpredictable

Training
Strong internal training program, JMP advocates share all new user resources and STIPS for support. As of March 2022, they have finally identified a new training contact and are going to connect with Premier Team.
JMP related Training Programs
FTEs with dotted line to HR implement statistics/analytics training. JMP integrated with much of it, but not sole tool. Tsega(Micron) and Sarah(IMFT) are JMP enthusiasts and savvy users. May need some consultation with updating training for new versions.
Main tool for user communication is SharePoint and email

Software Deployment
Version of JMP currently used: 14 to Power Users, 13 still for general users
Last version downloaded from COMSAT: 14.0 on 5/8/18
License Update Process: Chris coordinates the packaging of license deployment and pushes it out to the users; Same with new versions. Big challenge/wish regarding the preferences being reset and not an easy way to carry over preferences

Data Infrastructure
Analytic Tool/Competitive Landscape
Tableau – Buzz from JMP Day, everyone hears about it
Yield Cube – Internally developed - Seen as default for basic plotting until engineer proves they need JMP advanced capabilities; not willing to partner yet on how to work together
Strategy
For engagement – continue US support and increase dialogue with international locales (China, Taiwan, etc.)
For growth – Look for opportunity to standardize on JMP, add value to basic applications such as Excel and “Yield Cube” internally developed for basic stats, JMP Live?
IMFT fully sold to Micron, any impact?
Notes on Technical Engagement
Miscellaneous:
Fab2 – Lehi, Utah
Fab4 – Boise, Idaho
Fab6 – Manassas, VA
Fab10 -- Singapore
Fab11 – Taoyuan, Taiwan
Fab15 – Hiroshima, Japan
Fab16 – Taichung, Taiwan
There are other facilities (design, admin, etc..) in other places, but these are the major fab sites.
