Possible to put a sticky FAQ discussion at the top of this forum? It'd be good for questions like,
- Is it safe to paste content that includes Intel Confidential data here? I assume not...but seems like it deserves to be clearly stated (and re-stated). Actually, a generic "Does your post include Confidential data?" could go in the "Stop and Check" pane that shows up while editing a post, as well.
- Is there an agreed timeframe for responses? Or should requests that need timely resolution be submitted as support tickets?
- Any other posting guidelines that would help, like mentioning what JMP version, etc.
Thanks,
- Bob
Re: Possible to put a sticky FAQ discussion at the top of this forum?@Jeff_Perkinson I don't think I'm the right person to officially represent Intel's interests in this regard. I assume you have official Intel contacts? If not, I can poke the folks I would expect to want to manage this and get you names.
Re: Possible to put a sticky FAQ discussion at the top of this forum?@robert_j_moser, yes, we can pin a post but we also have other ways of sharing information about the proper use and expectations for this space.
We'd like to refresh this space with some recent practices we're using in other spaces.
Could we set up a call to discuss how to best approach this?
Re: Possible to put a sticky FAQ discussion at the top of this forum? You are correct that this is not a place for Intel Confidential information. Even though the forum is restricted to Intel JMP users, there are JMP employees monitoring the posts. I can't answer the rest of your questions but we should get a response from JMP folks.
