Gibbs Sampling in JMPHello!
How can I implement Gibbs Sampling in JMP?
Please, explain all the steps I should take.
Thank you in advance for your invaluable help.
Re: Gibbs Sampling in JMPWhat is your goal? Are you looking for outliers?
Re: Gibbs Sampling in JMP@Fatemeh_2020, I have used JAGS (Just another Gibbs Sampler) that I run thru JMP's R interface functions. Also, I have used the rstanarm package thru JMP's R interface functions. In the first case, you have to download JAGS and R and then write the JAGS model to run thru R. Once you have that setup, you can use JMPs R functions to run the model thru JMP and retrieve the posteriors in a JMP file. Similar with the rstanarm approach, just don't need to download JAGS. If you are unfamiliar with JMPs R interface functions, you can look them up in the Scripting Index available thru the Help menu in JMP.
I hope this is helpful.

Re: Gibbs Sampling in JMPAre you working with JMP or JMP Pro?
Re: Gibbs Sampling in JMPI am working with JMP 15 Pro currently, though I think I was using a JMP 11 version when running the JAGS models.
