Dissolution profile comparison - bootstrap f2

Hello All,

 

one of my customers is asking for dissolution profile comparison -bootstrap f2 method  using JMP,

while I saw it already in:  

JMP Wishlist @ Dissolution profile comparision-Pharmaceutical industry 

 

 ( there is also some sharing on a multivariate method of f2 calculation from  "Discovery Summit Europe 2018" ) 

 

Any experience/advice on how to do bootstrap f2 using JMP?  Thanks

Hi Pin, 

Last year, I also had a customer inquire about a bootstrap f2 dissolution test. 

I spoke with Diane Michelson who wrote the f2 JSL code for that Discovery talk you mentioned and she said she could modify the code to add the bootstrap capability but that would have to be done through a consultant contract with SAS education.

That's another option, if your customer doesn't want to write their own code.

you are right, the formula itself wouldn't be so hard, let's me see how ~

Hi Pin,

though I'm not an expert in these calculations, the f2 calculation mentioned in the paper listed in the wish list shouldn't be that hard to do in a new formula column. Then - with Pro - one could potentially use the bootstrapping option to calculate the confidence intervals. 

 

This is just a guess, May some of the stats developer team can chime in to make a guess if this would be hard to implement? 

 

Anyhow, please ask your customer to kudo the wishlist topic.
