Animated GIF and Multi-image File support on for MacOS

Currently, MacOS is lacking the animated GIF support present in Windows. In the main code-base, MacOS is also missing support for multi-image GIF and TIF image files. The versions have been out of sync on this since around version13.

I have a similar request for this from a customer. They all use Mac laptops and would like to have this functionality.
