ALK, a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of allergies, recently acquired five JMP Clinical licenses, for a deal worth $28,000. Klaus Lenander explains, “ALK was already a SAS customer and used CDISC data, which made JMP Clinical a great fit for them.”

Klaus continues, “ALK had been using another visualization tool for risk-based monitoring but found it to be very time consuming to code, script and maintain, which is why JMP Clinical caught their attention. Since JMP Clinical could connect directly to ALK’s SAS platform, it was an out-of-the-box solution. This was key to ALK´s decision to proceed with JMP Clinical on a test project.”
The big game changer for ALK was that employees with no coding skills could start looking at their data immediately with JMP Clinical. Klaus concludes, “The next step will be to investigate further opportunities with JMP Clinical at ALK.”
