JSL for Selecting Rows by MarkerHi - I am a novice JSL user. I have a fairly simple requirement of being able to select rows which I have marked with a "diamond" marker. Could someone please help me with the syntax for doing this?
Thanks,
Shriram
Re: JSL for Selecting Rows by Marker@rbfinner gave you a good answer. It's basically the way I would do it.
However, I'll ask a question about how they got to be marked with a diamond in the first place? Did you do that through JSL? There may be a way to get your subset at the same time that you mark them.
Re: JSL for Selecting Rows by Marker// Perhaps something like this would work for you?
dt = currentdatatable();
dt << select where (Marker Of( Row State() )==4); // the number 4 for open diamonds, and number 16 for solid diamonds.
// Marker Of( Row State(1) ) -- to get the marker value of row 1.
Check out "Table9.6 Row State Functions" in the scripting guide to see functions and numbers that map to row states.
Re: JSL for Selecting Rows by MarkerIn this case, it was a manual process. Thanks for the suggestion.
