Value Colors Column Property in JMP15?In JMP 15, when I assign the Value Colors property to a column, it does not appear to be pushing those assignments to graphs that I create. Markers are still defaulting to black. Is this a bug with JMP 15 or am I doing something incorrectly?
Re: Value Colors Column Property in JMP15?Yeah, I am using Graph Builder. For some reason I was thinking that the colors would default to the Value Color assignments without needing to move the variable into the Overlay or Color space, but maybe I am incorrect. I could be imagining capability that was not present. Thanks.
Re: Value Colors Column Property in JMP15?Are you using Graph Builder? If so, for some reason, you still have to drag the column that contains the Value Colors information to the "Color" or "Overlay" area of the Graph Builder interface.
If you're not using Graph Builder, it seems that some platforms do better at respecting Value Colors than others. For example, Partition and YbyX:Contingency respect it as long as the column with Value Colors has been included as the Y variable in the analysis, but YbyX:Bivariate and YbyX:Logistic don't. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to which platforms try to use it.
