Jmp pro 14 licenseI'm having problems with the jmp pro 14 license. I was able to install the license successfully back in March 2020 from the software center. However, I still get the error message "your license for JMP has expired in December 30, 2019". I contacted the GSD and they uninstalled and re-installed JMP Pro 14 and then downloaded the license again from the software center. The same license error message still shows. Can you please recommend a fix for this issue? Thank you.
Re: Jmp pro 14 licenseOften this issue arises from having multiple copies of JMP installed. I would recommend uninstalling JMP, then look for another copy of JMP that may be installed.
Although things may have changed since my days at Dow, I believe that Dow has their own JMP installation process meaning they do not use the one provided by JMP. That means that the install/uninstall may actually miss a few pieces. So, start by looking for multiple copies. Beyond that, you may need to contact JMP Tech Support or someone in the statistical support group at Dow to get more specific guidance.
Best of luck!
Re: Jmp pro 14 licenseAlthough the JMP license update can be applied in various ways. For legal reasons however, it is important that all active Dow JMP licenses be accounted for. To ensure that Dow has an accurate count of how many JMP users have an updated license for the current year, we ask that all Dow users who want to continue to utilize JMP in the future, update their license using the license installer icon provided in Dow's Software Center. Searching for "JMP" within Software Center might be necessary to gain access to the license installer. Also, keep in mind that a reboot of your workstation afterwards may be needed to complete the license update.
If you have trouble with the Software Center solution (described above), contact the R&D Statistics group using their functional mailbox ( FUNSTAT@dow.com) for further assistance.
