Control number of JMP application's open when opening different scripts and/or files.Wondering do you know what triggers JMP to open a new JMP application each time a new data table or script is opened.
There are some occasions when I would like a different JMP session open and others when the one application is plenty.
Any help appreciated.

It is probably that another installation of JMP is registered as the application to open automatically when you open a file directly. Open the version of JMP that you want to use by default. Then select File > Preferences and then select the Windows group. There should be a button at the bottom right to reset the registry.

I am using Windows 10 and JMP 15.1.
I have JMP 14 and maybe 13 in the background also, maybe I would need to remove them from the desktop and then retry this.
