PCA loading structures / rotational methods

Question

Hello!

I'm running a PCA and have read through the PCA documentation as well as other questions in the JMP community. I'm still unsure how I know which type of rotation method JMP employs. I'm guessing it something orthogonal, but I can see from my loading matrix (screenshot below) that I need a different loading structure, perhaps something oblique like promax or oblemin. Where would I find those controls in the platform?

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your reply!  I was actually looking for how to know and then change these rotations, though this list is helpful. I found that under the red arrow dropdown menu one can select factor analysis which then allows for rotation method selection.

Select Help > JMP Help. Then search for "rotation." You find this page as I did.
