Map with different states by date

I'd like to build a custom map very similar in design and purpose to https://www.jmp.com/support/help/ipad/Create_a_Custom_Map.shtml. The difference is I want to map this data daily and be able to select dates, so the changes can be seen as the days progress in one jmp window. Possible in jmp?

Something like this?  Here are some fictitious flue data for Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.  It varies by month. Yes, this is not a custom map, but what map that is used can easily be substituted.  I am just asking if this is what you mean when you say, vary across time.
