Sample data unavailable

Question

I have a licensed version of JMP. When trying to open a sample data set I get a message indicating "Your JMP trial has expired".

I did have  trial version of JMP installed, however I did purchase a licensed version. My user name and serial number is in the "About JMP" dialogue box.

Any help appreciated.

Is it possible that you just applied the license to the trial version, and when you did that, you were not running JMP as an administrator?  If you are not running as an administrator, JMP will forget the license information when you shut down JMP.

Hi Joe,
This has happened to me a while back. One solution is to completely uninstall JMP (all versions installed if you have more than 1) and reinstall JMP with your credentials.

It is not a particularly elegant solution but it is the most reliable.
