What is the purpose of the partner program?
To help our JMP users worldwide get the most out of their JMP products through the various training, consulting, customization, etc. services our partners provide.
What are the requirements to be in the partner program?
The requirements are found in the initial interest form which the partner would fill out. Current requirements:
- Register for and Participate in JMP Early Adopter Program providing constructive feedback that the JMP Division may use to improve future versions on our products.
- Tell us about your big projects with mutual clients – like large JMP Training engagements – before they happen.
- Use the JMP Partner logos on your website and promotional materials.
- Use JMP product and relationship descriptions on your website, and provide links to the JMP website.
- Distribute relevant JMP marketing campaigns, event promotions, and offers to your client base via your distribution channels.
- Collaborate, as appropriate, with JMP to promote your unique subject matter expertise and customer success stories.
- Collaborate with JMP to mutually amplify message distribution on Social Media channels.
- Check in annually to review success of the partnership prior to relationship renewal.
Why would someone want to be a JMP partner?
JMP partners have access to a free JMP software license that they can use for all of their JMP-related business needs, as well complimentary passes to JMP Discovery where they can learn from and connect with other JMP users in their industry. The number of licenses depends on how many contacts within the partner organization plan to execute the services outlined in their agreement- typically our partners have 1 contact, but we’ve got cases where there are multiple folks within a partner organization which would then warrant them to obtain multiple licenses (up to 3).
What are the different types of services that partners offer?
Our partners are connecting with folks all over the world and reaching existing and prospective users through their services. This helps us reach more people with our products and form connections with those who have worked with our partners. There are 4 main types of partners:
- Statistical Consulting partners that provide professional statistical consultation. These partners help users take a statistical view of problems and opportunities to derive more value.
- Customization Partners help users customize and extend JMP with Add-Ins or automation to help you meet your unique challenges.
- Training Partners teach users how to get the most out of your software investment, these groups help you build a culture of analytics across your organization.
- Clinical Trials Partners support the installation, deployment, configuration and customization of JMP Clinical, these partners help you develop a shared environment that aligns directly with your business goals.
How can I find out who is currently a partner and what type of services they provide?
All of our partners are listed
here and share what services they provide.
How long is the partnership agreement?
The partner agreement expires on June 30th each year, and renewed partners will have to sign another agreement for the following calendar year.
If someone wants to be a partner, what is the process?
Partners can be pointed to this
form. Once they fill that out, the request will go to Maanasa. Once Maanasa gets approval from product management, Maanasa will fill out a paperwork application for them. From there, BusOps will review the paperwork request and send accordingly send them their software and licensing documents. For more details please refer to the partner process outline attached at the top of this page.
If a customer is looking for help from a partner, how can/should I connect them?
Feel free to connect the customer to Maanasa.Thyagarajan@jmp.com and she will reach out to some suitable partners to make that connection. Customers can also look at the partner website and let Maanasa know if there is a specific partner they are hoping to connect with.
What about student licenses for training partners. How should I handle those requests?
If you have a training partner in need of student licenses, please send the request to Maanasa. She will then work with Biz ops to get that figured out.
