Sharing/Merging JMP tables

I am trying to merge two JMP tables, or lock a single table for editing when more than one user has access to and uses the same table. I have not been able to find a way to do either in JMP. Does anyone know how to merge tables or lock one for editing? Currently, we do not link directly to any database to store our experiment data.

@sound_biologics are you familiar with Table Joins or Virtual Joins?  I am assuming that is what you want to do when you say merging tables.  As for locking your table to avoid editing, please check out the link below.
