Has anyone else had issues with packing slides to journal? I am... none of the images show up. Journal Text Sledgehammer
Sorry, was out on vacation when all of this was happening.
Actually, you CAN place any slides you like into any folder you like and use the Sledgehammer to import them.
The key is that they need to be named "Slide1.png", "Slide2.png", etc. (Which is how powerpoint names slides during the export.) Here I've used the .png format as an example, but the same naming convention applies to other formats.
If you want to do this for a couple of slides, that is no big deal. If you have a need to do this for many slides, let me know and I can write a script that makes it much easier for you.
Example: See that there are 3 slides in the folder "Joe" below. The 2nd and 3rd are JMP slides, but as you can see (further below) the 1st is not.
Cheers,
Brady
To use the Slide to Journal utility in the add-in you need to first save the PPT slides as image files (i.e., JPG, PNG, etc.) in a folder, and then run the utility.

Thanks everyone who responded. I think I figured out my issue.
If you export an individual slide to JPG or PNG or multiple slides individually, Slides into Journal does not work because it looks for a specific packaged folder from PowerPoint with the images saved.
