JMP Live/Public data file size limit?I am getting a timeout error (60,000 milliseconds, screenshot below) when I try to upload to JMP Live or Public (either manually or scripted) with a 70MB data file. I imagine this is a combination of file size and my internet connection, exceeding the programmed timeout time

If so, thinking about customer usage, they may well want to publish larger data files (70MB doesn't seem too large), how would they do this?
Re: JMP Live/Public data file size limit?The complete package size (data, graphs, scripts) cannot exceed 100 MB. That is a limit that we put in the settings. This is configurable, but not one we want to change for Public. A purchasing user can make the limit anything they would like.

Re: JMP Live/Public data file size limit?Thanks Brian, I can advise customers accordingly if they ask.
I had to cut down my data file to under 5MB until it would publish, which even considering the graph I was uploading, is much lower than 100MB. Could the internet connection and the timeout be causing the error in this case?
Re: JMP Live/Public data file size limit?Probably. You can use the Publish to File to see the size on disk. This will give you an idea of how much is going over the wire.

Re: JMP Live/Public data file size limit?When publishing from JMP or JMP Pro you can increase the timeout period. Go to Preferences -> Reports -> JMP Live Timeout. The default is set to 60 seconds, which is what you seem to run into.
Or when scripting you can set a timeout like that:
Preferences[1] << Set( JMP Live Timeout( 120 ) );
