In case you haven’t heard, JMP 12 is coming very soon.
I hope you’re as excited about this release as we are. If you are, you’re probably ready to figure out how to get it for yourself.
There are a few different ways, depending on the kind of license you have.
No license
If you’re not yet a JMP user, get a license for yourself.
Annual license
If you’ve got a license that renews annually, an upgrade to JMP 12 is included as a part of your license. You’ll need to get your software administrator to request the upgrade to JMP 12 at jmp.com/upgrade on or after March 19, 2015.
If you don’t know who your software administrator is, contact us with your site number, and we can point you in the right direction.
Single-user, perpetual license
This type of license will require you to purchase an upgrade to JMP 12. Contact us, and we can get you set up.
Don’t know what kind of license you’ve got?
It’s easy to figure out what kind of license you’ve got. Look in the “About JMP…” window. You’ll find this window in the Help menu on Windows and in the JMP menu on a Macintosh.

If you see a Site ID, you’ve got an annual license.

If you see a Serial Number you’ve got a single-user, perpetual license.

Still don't know what to do?
We are always here to help and only a email or phone call away.

Let's add Roger as a collaborator here, this way he can pull the content right to a CQ page.
Good thought, I'll add the last note as you suggest.
I think a parallel CQ page (with perhaps a slightly more formal tone) is the best plan. That way we don't take people away from jmp.com.
I'm not usually a fan of maintaining information in multiple places, but in this case the community page and the blog have a limited lifespan as they will get pushed down in the content stack quickly and the page on jmp.com can be reused with JMP 13 and beyond.

This is great, Jeff! I like the friendly tone.
The only thing I might add is last sentence that says something like:
"Still don't know what to do? We are always here to help and only a email or phone call away..."
Maybe not, it's up to you.
Thanks for putting this together. Do you imagine creating a parallel CQ page that we can point to from the New in pages on jmp.com, or do you want to point everyone here to the community?
