What is language translation support?
It’s the ability to overcome language barriers through real-time, automatic translation into each user’s preferred language.
Who can use this new feature?
Everyone! You can participate in conversations by viewing translated content and posting a response in your preferred language.
Features
You experience real-time translation of User Community content, including overview pages, discussions, comments and more. Translation is enabled by default. Please uncheck to disable the auto-translation of your content.
The User Community has full support for seven languages:
- French (fr)
- German (de)
- Italian (it)
- Japanese (ja)
- Korean (ko)
- Simplified Chinese (zh)
- Spanish (es)
Please note that the User Community employs a combination of machine language translation and our customized memory translations. While machine language translation is not perfect, we believe it can provide a richer experience by adding powerful multilingual features and functionalities to our community based on each user’s preferred language settings.
What should you do if your pages are not being translated automatically?
Ensure that the checkbox “Translate Page to: “ is enabled. Reset your browser cache by deleting references to JMP.com from your browser history. (Here's how to reset your browser cache.)
