- Registration pages for events announced by users or user group community administrators.
- Reports about posting activity to a certain page, by page area. For example, if we want to find the activity on a Users Group page to evaluate, over a specified period of time, in addition to hits on page, how many content additions or edits were made.
- Multi--question surveys. Not single item polls. Build the survey, compile results.
- Calendars.
- Add postings (like Meeting Dates) to one or more pages (such as User Group pages) to a 1) Master Calendar and/or 2) listing on another page. For example: French Users Group Community posts a meeting (date, period of dates) to their Community Page and we want to list it on a general Users Group Overview Page or Users Group calendar.
May 20 added after launch meeting with Lithium.
I left during discussion about how to keep people engaged and how do we know what they like about current site. We can tell some from areas getting the most use, but that does not tell us why.
Here are things I think about and think could be improved in new site.
1. Popular tags. Not sure this is useful. Could save space to delete.
2. User areas. I seem to move a lot of questions from someone's personal space to Discussion and even have trouble finding things in our spaces (for example I have to put ryan in my query to find his videos). Perhaps we don't need this personal space in Lithium except for super users. Maybe it can be an award? If we do use it, we need to make sure we have guidelines for those using their space.
3. the distinction between spaces and groups is a bit murky. I will see how Lithium does it. For example, current Users Groups are places instead of subgroups
4. Linking to newsletters and other things from pulldowns on jmp.com. We should talk about this need during design phase. .
Things I would like to make sure get migrated.
1. Tables I have created. Hopefully table editing is better than currently. Lots of ugly html code gets included and editing is very time consuming. I have two: Links to Videos from Advanced Mastering Webcasts and Links to Videos from Mastering JMP Live Webcasts I do not want to lose. They have lots of links.
