[Purpose] With out-of-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest that occurred in a house, whether or not the initial electrocardiogram waveform is a shockable rhythm that can be saved by AED is adjusted by the cognitive contact time, age, gender We examined whether to improve.
[Subjects and methods] 15-84 years old with Utstein style data in 2015, witnessed, general whistleblower report, brain function prognosis CPC1-5 one month later, extracted in order of purpose-knowledge-contact An event occurred, and 19062 were found within 99 percentile.Subsequently, the hazard ratio of the presence or absence of shockable rhythm adjusted by age and 119-contact time was determined using Cox's proportional hazard model for 15500 cases that could be combined with the location of CPA in the emergency transport data.
[Results] Out of 15500 cases, defibrillation by citizens was excluded, it occurred in residence, and 9091 cases (58.6%) were bystander families.Hazard ratio of CPR by oral guidance based on voluntary CPR implementation is 1.44 (1.06-1.97) at 15-64 years old, 1.08 (0.78-1.54) at 65-74 years old, 0.76 (0.56- 1.05).
[Summary] With out-of-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest that occurred at home and was supported by the family, shockable rhythm increased significantly compared with voluntary CPR in the 15-64-year-old group by oral instruction of communication commanders. In the future, active oral guidance to families will lead to an increase in the number of patients with cardiopulmonary arrest who have returned to society.
[Supplement] At the time of presentation, analysis and reporting will be performed taking into account newly released data from 2016 onwards.
