Hi, a customer has asked about using the Monte Carlo simulation capabilities in the Profiler across many process stages. E.g. they have a model that predicts yield of stage 1 as a function of temperature. And another model that predicts yield of stage 2 as a function of temperarture. Yield of stage 1 will, of course, determine the absolute yield of stage 2. So they can nest the models within each other and use MC simulation to understand how variation in termperature at each stage will lead to variation in yield at stage 1 and stage 2.
Fairly simple stuff.
Just wondering if anyone has examples from customers where they are actually doing this. Any tips and tricks that would help when there are many process stages? It would be great if there were a Discovery presentation (or other resource) on this that I could share.
Thanks,
Phil
