Spatial Data AnalysisHi,
i have a question. I have got from a customer who would like to calculate the distances between different locations (adresses, cities, postal codes). The data that he send to me is attached. it contains addresses in Germany and postal codes. i don't who to get the coordinates from those different locations. Any clue?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Valerie

Re: Spatial Data AnalysisHi,
And some other options—

Or using an add-in with R—

Re: Spatial Data AnalysisHaven't used this either, but it might help.
Else (using the Google Distance Matrix API) someone could take advantage of the REST capabilities in JMP 14).

Re: Spatial Data AnalysisI got it to work, thank you, but now, how can we calculate the distances between 2 cities?
Re: Spatial Data AnalysisHi Valerie,
According to the help file for the addin, you will need the following four entries outside the US:
Street Address, City, Province, Country
The file provided lacks City and Province. If your user can provide these the addin should work fine.

Re: Spatial Data AnalysisThat looks promissing, but do you know how the data (addresses, postal code and city, country) needs to be formatted?
Re: Spatial Data AnalysisI've not used it, but Xan's add-in might help, Valerie.
