Is there a way to modify the main window title?I want to change the main windo title to include the version of the JMP session. Sometimes I have to open different versions of JMP at the same time to check behaviour in different versions. Having a startup script I could use to change the title of the main window would help to keep track of the different versions and windows without checking via Help menu.

Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?Hi Martin,
Something I do on my Mac is to make an invisible data table named for the JMP version. Since invisible tables will show up in the window list I can quickly tell what version of JMP I'm running.
ver = New Table(JMP Version(),Invisible);

Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?If you are using Windows, you could always associate a script or addin with a toolbar button, which does the following:
Status Msg(JMP Version());
Then you could easily see the version in the lower left of the status bar.
Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?Hey Martin,
This is sort a build on Brady's idea. A really simplistic way I keep track is to make the font size different for the different versions.

Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?On the mac, I can change my desktop icons. There's probably a way to do it on windows too...

From left to right, these are JMP 13.2, 14.0(daily build), and 15.0(daily build). Then you can use the OS windows manager (expose on mac, but Windows has something similar) to see what version of JMP is associated with what data table.
All that said, I do really like Brady's background idea. Really clever.

Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?Thanks Brady, nice idea
I'll wait just a bit more in case someone has other solution/workaround.Re: Is there a way to modify the main window title?Hi Martin,
I don’t know how to do that but one way you can keep the versions separate is by changing the data table and report background colors slightly on one of the versions.
Cheers,
