Cell Plot/Graph Builder Sorting

Hi,

 

A customer would like to create a cell plot like the attached graph with the first symptom sorted by severity then the rest of the symptoms sorted accordingly. I am able to recreate the graph in graph builder using histogram except for the sorting on the first symptom only. Does anyone have any suggestions on creating the sorting in either graph builder or cell plot? I have attached the  simulated dataset as well.

Here's a Graph Builder solution in case you (or anyone else) is interested:

 

 

The way to do this with Graph Builder is by specifying the Row Order Levels column property after you've properly sorted your table to have the rows with symptom 1 and severe at the top:

I have not discovered anything yet from a right click or red triangle. Maybe from scripting?

Is there a way within JMP to flip the cell plot horizontally instead of vertical?

Hi Olivia,

 

You can use the Cell Plot under Graph Menu, but you would have to split the columns first.  Then you can sort within the graph by right-clicking on each column

 

Here is a script from the Scripting Index that shows that sorting can be scripted to the data table if needed.
