Suggestions for Excel like shortcut

Dear All,

 

One of our customers wants to add this function such as excel-like shortcut below.

For example, he wants to add a column by Mouse Right Click + I (Insert). He uses this function in Excel because he has many repeated tasks.

 

Is there any plan of next version of JMP to include these functions(shortcuts)? Or if there are already exist these functions in JMP, please let me know.

Mike is right, on Windows you have to go to View ->Customize->Menuand Toolbars. Then look into the Rows menu and there click on "Add Rows". There you can set a short cut

 

 

 

 

 

Re: Suggestions for Excel like shortcutOn the macOS side you can create customized keyboard shortcuts for any of the menu items. I’ve got a couple for grouping/ungrouping columns and some of the Add-ins I use regularly. I believe (can’t verify at the moment) you can do the same on the windows side. For Mac it’s not actually done in JMP but in the global keyboard preferences at the OS level.
