- For Q4 - Scott & Dan to communicate to the Sales Teams the new home for Beacon Account Technical Updates and Account History on the JMP Users Community – Beacon Accounts!
· GE:
o 9/28/15 - GE Power & Water – Reliability Modeling Automation Project - Greenville, SC
§ Short Term Plan:
· Kim Pemberton & Team will create working example with high level support help from Byron and WWTET.
· Status: On-Going
§ Long Term Plan:
· We introduced Predictum to see if they can help with larger development of full project scope. (Scott: Completed 09/28/15)
· Status: Predictum has reached out and is in processing of getting an NDA signed for quotes
o 10/02/15 - GE Aviation – JMP Training Opportunity – Bangalore, India
§ Background:
· Direction from management to promote analytical training to the engineers, that includes tools like JMP (Decentralizing Analytics)
· Anurag (Champion Target who attended Discovery) – Teaching 100-200-300 level engineering analytics class at Aviation using R but he seems open to using JMP.
· Lee Becker teaches the same course using JMP and perhaps some SAS as well in Cincinnati, OH.
§ Short Term Plan:
· Explore positioning JMP for this training need through a similar workshop that we did for GE Power & Water Asset Life Optimization
· Especially Interested in the advanced modeling sections.
· Send high level Power Point outline for a Bangalore workshop, with an emphasis on the predictive modeling by end of the week (In Progress: Scott sent draft to Dan, Lou & Tim – Will be sent to customer by end of day)
· Corning:
o Ongoing - Corning – JMP in SSEMPaC Training - Corning, NY:
§ Sort Term:
· Jian working with Dean Neubauer on JMP alignment to SSEMPaC slides, Dean to show to his Statistical Team, and then we will have sit down meeting
· Applied Materials:
o 09/30/15 - AMAT Eng – DSM (Etch) Team - Santa Clara – CA:
§ Background:
· Dan and Don participated in Internal Lunch & Learn Session with Sid’s DSM Team.
· Sid and team presented topics around JMP Importing, Exploratory, Significance Tests, DOE
§ Results:
· Don reported a very positive event with a full room (+ 45 participants) who were further encouraged by Management to attend and do more in JMP
· Sid showed some good internal JMP use within the DSM (Etch) Team
· Many were new to JMP and Don spent time showing where to get help and learn more in needed JMP Areas
o 09/30/15 – Samsung Semi - Sales Orders Received – Austin, TX
§ Sales Order:
§ Successfully received order for 100 JMP (taking Total JMP to 199) and 4 JMP Pro with Post JMP Pro Workshop
o 09/29/15 & 9/30/15 – Samsung Semi – Engineer Training & Materials - Austin, TX:
§ Background:
§ Call & Face-to-Face Meeting with SAS JMP Training (Ledi and Scott) and Ben Eynon to show what we can do for JMP Engineering Class Training & Material Conversion.
§ Results:
§ Successfully got interest and quote was requested and sent JMP Training Kit Materials, Train the Trainers, and Training options.
§ Ben and Team to consider the SAS JMP Training quotes against using 3rd Party Consulting for the work
o 10/20/15 – Samsung Semi – 3rd Part Discovery Call – Salt Lake City, UT:
§ Background:
§ Ben Eynon at Samsung Semi is currently using a 3rd Party Consultant (Rai Chowdhary of The KPI Systems) to finish the current Minitab based Engineering Training course.
§ Rai’s group is the 3rd party who Ben will use if he doesn’t go with the SAS JMP Training quote for the Engineering JMP Material Conversion.
§ Call to introduce Rai to Dan and get a sense of his group’s JMP analytic capability
· BASF:
o 09/29/15 – BASF - Discovery Call – Wyandotte, MI
§ Background:
· Tony, Scott and Dan had Discovery call James (Jim) Dailey – Global Key Account Manager to talk about using JMP in their DOE approach in their factories in Detroit. From Discovery conversations with Lou and more!
§ Next Step:
· Dan to share info with Jim on past workshops
o Next Week – BASF Texas – Follow-Up Calls – Freeport, TX
§ Next Step: Dan, Don and Catherine to follow-up with Mark, Aaron and the Team that went through the past DOE Training to reconnect, explore JMP use and see if any additional JMP licenses can be forecasted
