merging columns to one columnHi evryone .
I would like to merging three columns into one colum for "X to Y fit analyze"
The three columns is the "Y" -respond colum, and I would like to analyze the three columns as one.
is that possible ?
with more details,
X is the measured ambiant temp.
Y's is the measured temp at different points of the system.
so for each X I got three Y
I would like to predicted what could be the max temp on the system at different temp. (abve the measured temp)
all the best
Re: merging columns to one columnI believe all you need to do, is to use
Tables==>Stack
and stack the 3 Y columns, and then run your analysis
Re: merging columns to one columnI wonder why you want to merge the three responses into one? Why not model each one separately?
Re: merging columns to one columnI am looking to predict the maximum temperature over the system, and the three responses col is three thermocouples.
Re: merging columns to one columnI think that you will be more satisfied by fitting each response separately, saving the individual models as column formulas, and then creating a new column formula that is the maximum of the three individual temperatures. The Graph > Profiler is very flexible. It has an option to expand intermediate formulas back to the original factors.
