JMP14.3 Selected Marker Drawing Order

In JMP14.3 (I am coming from JMP12.2) selected markers in any frame are drawn above all other graphical elements regardless of the intended drawing order. Below is a quick example (I used the Samples script to add a sine-wave, then selected the points). The Marker seg is intended to be drawn before the added script, yet any selected markers will be drawn on top of the script.

Is there any way around this, or is this just another example of arbitrary inconsistency within JMP that has come to be so frustrating?

You can change the order of the graph elements using the up/down arrows in the Customize Graph window.
