Our external speaker Peter Goos is professor at the Faculty of Bio-Science Engineering in Leuven and at the Faculty of Applied Economics in Antwerp. He specializes in the statistics design and analysis of experiments.

Attendees will learn:

• Why design of experiments is more important than ever, even in the era of big data and data science,
• That design of experiments can now deal with virtually any practical difficulty in the execution of an experiment,
• That design of experiments is tremendously helpful to screen out the most influential factors from a long list of potentially influential ones,
• How design of experiments is helpful to optimize production processes involving multiple steps, and
• That there is a synergy between the use of interactive graphs and the application of design of experiments.
