My customer who works for Korea Aerospace Research Institute wanted to make all possible combinations for 8 data table. First 4 data tables consist of 10 columns and 11 rows each, and the last 4 data tables consist of 10 columns and 13 rows each.
He wanted to make all possible combinations, that would be 418,161,601(=13^4 * 11^4) rows. And I guided to use Cartesian Join via Tables menu, but it was not working properly. When it was implemented 7th join was successful, but the last join was failed because of memory(see the below image).
Is there way to make all possible combinations using JSL, or some kind of scripting? His purpose was that finding model to satisfy specific condition(or combination) among all possible combinations.
Here's my second question.
Do JMP have periodic(he mentioned that word "periodic", but it really means "angle") function? Let's say 5 degree and 355 degree are different, but the absolute distance is same. My customer wanted to adjust that kinds of concept in his data. Is it possible?
And he also mentioned that GE Aviation is very similar to his work, so is there any case study, JMP using example or success story for that?
