jonathan.bryant could you look into this as a high priority?
We've got groups that we want to invite people to but the invitation link isn't work.
For example in it doesn't work.
Some groups it does work but lots it doesn't. When you click on the link nothing happens.

From what I can tell, I don't see any onclick function being called for this link. I don't think we have any customization that would be affecting this either.
The highlight blue bar below shows the script/html for that link. The second image shows that there is no function being called to do anything.
Should we open a ticket for this as a bug?
Yes, if you can't figure it out, please open a case with Jive to find out why.
Interestingly, the same link in this group () works.
Can you see any difference between the two?

It does seem strange that it works in one space but not others.
Let me take a another look at the system properties, space permissions and then review the theme customizations to see if anything jumps to the surface.

Seems this one has an extra line of code being called on it compared to Micron. Not sure why to be honest.
Interestingly if you go to the Actions dropdown menu and click the invite link here it works.
Why don't we just remove that Actions link container and encourage everyone to use the invite in the dropdown.

Yes, it does work from Actions, but it is pretty buried – I did not even think to look there.
If you can't figure it out, please open a case at Jive. This is crucial to adoption of regional user groups.

JB it appears it is one of the SMZ translation system properties.
Can you identify which class is being used by the Actions box so we can remove it from the translation system property.
Once removed we can see if the invite button works again.

If I remove the following: ".jive-widget-body" from the properties it corrects the invite problem but breaks some of widgets from being translated.
I'll need your help to identify some additional classes that allow translation of the other widgets but not break the invite button.
Any we identify will then need to be added to the properties.
