I'm trying to color a specific cell to show in a graph without coloring the whole row or the whole column, is that possible?
Look in the Scripting Index for Cell Colors. Below is a simple example of how to do this:
names default to here(1); dt=open("$SAMPLE_DATA/big class.jmp"); dt:Weight<<color cells("red",5);
Thanks, but it only colors the cell on the table but it's not showing on the graphs.
All you have to do is to set the row state color value.......see
help==>books==>Using JMP
Here is a sample script
names default to here(1); dt=open("$SAMPLE_DATA/big class.jmp"); dt:Weight<<color cells("red",5); Row State( 5 ) = Color State("red"); Bivariate( Y( :height ), X( :weight ), SendToReport( Dispatch( {}, "1", ScaleBox, {Min( 54.9370629370629 ), Max( 172 ), Interval( "Minute" ), Inc( 0.333333333333333 ), Minor Ticks( 1 )} ), Dispatch( {}, "Bivar Plot", FrameBox, {Frame Size( 572, 417 )} ) ) );
