How to change the Graph Axis Label Order in JMP
Video Script-
If you have data shown as labels in a graph such as the four seasons in this Animals sample data, and wish to customize that categorical order differently, you can accomplish this by using the JMP Value Order window.
With your data open, right-click the column header and drop down to Column Properties, then select Value Order.
I'll move the Seasons in the order I would prefer they appear with Spring starting off the year. I can drag the order around or use these handy arrows, moving them up or down. Selecting Apply, you can see that my Graph Builder lower X-Axis Labels update with that new order.
Notice that Value labels are conveniently located in this window. I'll link a video to for that if you're interested.
Select OK to close the window.
