FilterColSelector Grouped / Ungrouped columns

I would like to create a FilterColSelector list box but have it initialize either to showing only ungrouped columns or only grouped columns.

 

This can be done after the display is created by clicking the triangle, then unchecking either the  "Column Groups" or the "Ungrouped Columns" options.  However, there seems to be no method of doing this within JSL.

 

Does anyone know a solution for this within JSL?  I am using JMP14.3

Filter Col Selector is one of the worst behaving objects in JMP (in my opinion). There still doesn't seem to be a way to modify those two with JSL

I could try to remember all the issues I have had with Filter Col Selector and write a wish list item for them to be fixed/modified.

 

I'm not sure if those options could be manipulated though the popupbox (I think it isn't even PopupBox but something else as PopupBox is list of labels and scripts and filter col selector also has checkmarks)

Did you find a way of doing what you asked? I am also looking for something like this. I only want to see categorical columns in my filter col selector through JSL? 

Re: FilterColSelector Grouped / Ungrouped columnsI do not see in the Scripting Index any parameters or messages that allows for the JSL setting you are looking for. I suggest that you add your request to the JMP Wish List
