§ Background:
· Results of meeting with GE Aviation Ceramics by Dan, Peter & Malcolm on 11/17/15.

· JMP friendly location with locations in DE, OH, NC and new plant in AL or MS.
· Looking to expand the JMP footprint, but interested in exploring JMP Pro for advanced predictive modeling and exploratory data analysis needs.

· Dan’s Goals:
o Want to get confirmation that he would internally say that JMP Pro will be their choice for desktop analytic tool.
o Opportunity to not only become a standard within GE, but to integrate with technologies where we don’t current have a strong message with (R, Python).
o Raise the visibility of JMP across GE (JMP use in conjunction with the Predict platform).
o Be a good listener and look for longer term plays.
o Explore newer JMP business model for licensing and pricing for analytics done in JMP for services done for customers outside of GE.
o Sameer walk away and feel that we are listening to his needs, and therefore push for higher growth.
o Note that Sameer may be instrumental in integrating with Alstom in France!

· Laura and Don did a great job with Sid (Team Manger) and the DSM Productivity Team
o Covered: Getting data in and manipulation, covered variability charts, MSA, prediction modeling and scripting, etc.
o ¾ of the group attended: eight people total
· Dan’s meeting with Ganesh (Sid’s Boss)
o Outlined the purpose of his group is focusing on root cause analysis and defect control
o Moving out of the Excel macro and automate it in JMP
o Notes that VP and GM of this group, Mikund Srinivasan, is a big sponsor of JMP (and is relatively new to AMAT)
o Mentioned possible opportunity for JMP at internal AMAT symposiums that Engineers attend
§ Main symposium and another that is specific to modeling – had one in Germany in October
§ Often have side training that software companies would give on location (like with Matlab)
§ Not allowed into internal, but could give outside close by training sessions
§ might be better than JMP day…would need approval from CTO but thinks we can get it.
