Hello All,
Let’s gather before the end of the week to review next steps with Corning.
David and I talked with Dean yesterday.
The process we are going through with them addresses 2 needs for training:
- Provides JMP Training (data exploration with JMP)
- Provides Training in advanced modeling and prediction
Training on the SEMPAC process can be broken down into 5 sections:
- Get data and analytics lite
- Traditional modeling
- Advanced modeling – prediction
- DOE and DSD’s – (Brad and Chris materials)
- Reliability – (Bill Meeker and Leo materials)
Dean wants us to respond to his power point comments and then design a 2-3 hour on-site workshop that we will present to the stakeholders at Corning. Based on their feedback we would then develop some training materials that we would deliver and/or provide as a train-the-trainer. The preferred date for the workshop is the first week of November (although if we could have ready before Thanksgiving we should consider).
