Discovery Summit Event Landing Page 2.0In order to provide a better user experience for attendees and users just wanting to get to the information, we are redesigning the TKB landing page for Discover Summit, starting with DS Europe 2019. Here is the current state of the page/mockup.
- We are currently discussing using photos vs. icons for the sections. I feel pretty strongly that photos speak to people more than icons for these.
- We also need to determine which specific sections are going to be there. We had discussed losing "Featured" and going with "Best of" (as voted), along with the others present. If I'm wrong on this can someone refresh my memory here?

Re: Discovery Summit Event Landing Page 2.0Yes, we agreed to drop the Featured topics and keep the others as shown. I would change Plenary to Keynote and Papers to Breakouts.
If the pictures are going to be standard across all Discovery Summit pages, I would vote for icons unless the pictures clearly denote what the content is.
Having said that, both Intuit and Qlik use images for something similar (though it's not repeated within other forums).
