Hello
I ask for importing JMP’s analytic result using JSL.
1. Asking add-in fuction for importing JMP’s analytic result using JSL.
Below is a sample of Generalized Regression. We can see Probability Threshold and Misclassification rate and so on. They want to know importing method the result value as JSL, calculating with using the value and then utilizing the result again.
For example, Default value of Probability Threshold is 0.5. They want to search Probability Threshold point that Misclassification rate is minimum. They want to know some method can do additional analysis after importing analysis result as JSL.
2. Is there add-in function that can utilize R Script / Python code in JMP.
They think that making script with JSL have much time and too difficult.
So, they want to know best method that can utilize R Script / Python code in JMP.
As a workqround, you can look at the ROC Table from Fit Model/ Nominal Logistic platform To find the optimal threshold value. In the ROC table there is a column labeled as Sens-(1-Spec). [ROC table is not available in GenReg so you would have to run the model in Nominal Logistic.] A higher value indicates a lower misclassification rate. This measure is known as Youden’s Index and is used to find the optimal cut point that minimizes the misclassification rates assuming eual weight given to sensitivity and specificity.
In the example shown below (the data table used is Diabetes from JMP sample data sets ) I sort the Sens-(1-Spec) column, and the optiomal threshold prob value is 0.2498 since it yields the highest Sens-(1-Spec) value, 0.6073.
