User Community statistics of the views and downloadsHi
is there a way to access the community statistics, especially the view statistics, download statistics of assets provided in the community, region and time of access information, number of kudos, ...? If possible through an API or other access?
One of my use cases would be to see which discovery assets are viewed most, but also the decay of interest by topic or application area.
Another use case could be getting the community's discussion topics, doing text analytics and relate them to the access rate and other information (e.g. Jeff does provide the most frequent topics for blog posts every year). Or the same on Add-in and scripts.
I think about a demo starting accessing the data from the community, see the hot topics and referring these to our assets on the web to illustrate how well we listen to our user base and so forth ending with our other assets we have to do customer care and strengthen the relationship with our customers.
If someone has already done something similar, please share it as well

Jeff runs smarter reports, but I can access the out-of-box Community reports. Set up a time to talk and come with a short list of what you want reported. I have some bandwidth early next week.

Yes, we have a transactional record of everything thing that happens from the Community Analytics. All SAS employees can find a link to that on the home page of the community in the lower right.
From there you can see views and lots of other metrics. You can export any report as a CSV from the gear menu in the upper right. You can only report on six months of data at most, but we also have API access to all of this data.
You can see some of the reports we build on a daily basis from that data in the Customer Care group on jmplivesales.
For reference the data table with all the transactional data for 2019 and 2019 is >8.7 million rows and gzip compressed is 736MB. Uncompressed I suspect it is >2.5GB.
I have looked at the decay of views and lots more and would be happy to share what I've found with any who are interested. I could do that on a monthly SE call sometime if there is interest.
As for building a demo with this data I would be happy to work with you on that. Much of the data is covered by the SAS Privacy Policy as it has personally identifiable information in it, so we must be careful with it.

thanks that's great. The dashboard answers some questions. The Community Analytics page, however, requires access it seems.
