Import a Response Surface Design

Question

Does anyone know how to import a Response surface Design created in minitab or excel,which already contained the response data?

As long as the matrix is in JMP, you can analyze it as what ever you want.  In fit model, you can select the terms you want and then click the Macro button and enter a surface response model (or you can do it manually).  Perhaps I don't understand what you are asking.

Hi Statman - I meant is, how do you make JMP reconize a Response Surface Desing when this was created let's say in minitab?

You have multiple options, in Excel (which can be exported from Minitab), you can open it directly from jmp (file>open...locate excel file)...or in Excel, copy it and open a new data table in jmp and paste with column names under the Edit drop down.
