This article is a guide to help you set your rules in Outlook to help parse out notification emails to only let you get relavent emails to your main inbox.
Although this is shown on a Mac, the menu should be fairly similar. Let me know if something is unclear.
Steps to set up rule to send all emails to a "Smartling" folder:
- Create a folder called "Smartling" by right clicking on your email and selecting "New folder" and name it "Smartling".

- Go to "Tools", "Rules..."

- Look for the "+" icon to add a rule

- Add in the following information and hit "OK".

- You rule is now set to send ALL Smartling notifications to the "Smartling" folder.
Steps to set up a rule to send the exeption language (E.g. Japanese) to your main inbox:
- Go back to edit "Rules" and add a new rule using the instructions above
- Add the same information as above but this time add another condition. Select "Body" and click on "Add search terms".

- Add the language in which you want to redirect back to your main "Inbox". Hit OK.

- Next, select the folder you want to send the email to and click on "Choose folder" and search for "Inbox" and select "Choose".

- It should now look like the below. Hit "OK". This will now allow you to get only the language related notification emails you want to maintain directly to your inbox. The rest will go to the Smartling folder.

This is meant to help JMP internal reviewers/translators who have the "Project Managers" role in Smartling to parse out emails that are not the responsibility of that internal reviewer allowing you to specify exactly what language you want to see. Meaning, the walkthrough above would only send emails with "Japanese" related content to the users main inbox and the other emails would go into a "Smartling" folder.
