We have a potential customer that uses a Microsoft Dynamics AX database to store virtually all of their lab and production data. They basically said their decision to purchase JMP hinged on whether or not JMP could connect to and extract data from AX in a usable format. Keep in mind this is a small company and the IT person was the one we were working with to show that Query Builder was a viable way to get data out of AX. Long story short we were able to connect to AX with Query Builder and bring useful/usable data directly into JMP. One watch out though, I would recommend that you use filters and prompts for the data fields of interest. Without the filters it appeared that Query Builder was trying to load their entire database.
